Liana Winn has always felt like a little bit of an outsider in her family. Adopted by her aunt and uncle after her parents died in a tragic plane crash, Liana’s always wondered if there isn’t more behind her history than what she’s been told. When she meets handsome businessman Austin Walker, she finds the encouragement she needs to seek out who she really is.

Author Rachel Ann Nunes is at it again with another LDS novel, but I have to give her credit: while her stories are usually nothing more than entertaining fluff, Flying Home has some substance to it and I thought it was a step above the norm.

Like the teaser says, Flying Home is the story of how Liana Winn, an overworked, unappreciated accountant finds out who she really is. She knows that her parents lived in India at the time of their deaths, but beyond that, she has no recollection of her past. With the support of her aunt (her mother’s sister), they take a trip to India to retrace her mother and father’s steps and find out what they can.

You can find Flying Home at DeseretBook.com or wherever LDS books are sold.
